this is the first movie that marvel has made on it's own. based on the trailer i saw last night on the football, the plot seems maybe not so good.
the visuals, on the other hand, seem pretty freaking awesome. i don't think i can watch marvel butcher another of their characters. if this plot stands up, there may be hope yet.
who else do they have that's not already tarnished by moviedom? maybe a captain america movie would be good (i am of course ignoring that horrible version from the 80s).
the avengers would be a stupid movie, no matter what. who was not in the avengers? no one. i was in the avengers, that's how lame they are.
